Auto Gurus! My 95 Nissan Altima wont start - mechanic says everything mechanical is fine?
Q. Hello Auto Gurus! Ok, here is the problem - I was driving my nissan altima 3 months ago and it stopped ( engine turned off). It makes the cranking sound but doesnt start. I took it to the mechanic and checked the following and said they are all ok- 1) fuel pump 2) fuel injectors 3) cylinder compression 4) remote starter system 5) engine timing 6) starter 7) spark plugs/distributer He ran a vehicle diagnostic and it says that the oxygen sensor and catalytic converter went bad. He says even if they are bad the car should atleast start. Here are my questions- 1) If there is fuel pressure, spark and compression, why would an electrical fault prevent it from starting? 2) should the car start even if the cat.converter and oxygen sensor is… [cont.]

A. one thing that wasn't mentioned here is the timing on it,,this can be off,and everything else can be fine,and it still wont start so id have some more things checked,,on this car it can be one of 50 things making it not start and run,,and its impossible to through the list of them on here,,good luck hope this help,s.

A. I am sorry but you do not give enough information for people to help. What makes you think the computer is infected with a worm virus. What are the symptoms. Have you got an Anti virus, if so which one. Anyway you might try this as the DNS server is associated with a trojan virus. I assume you can get on the internet as you have been able to post. Follow these instructions; Download the following Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and TR (Trojan Remover). Run both in normal mode and delete anything that they find. Start the computer in Safe Mode (Tapping F8 ket whilst computer boots) once in safe mode run both these programs again and again delete anything they find. A. I think that this like many other things that have come and gone in the past years is unfortunatly not a cure. People are always claiming that a diet or something is going to cure autism. I work with children with autism and I've never heard about this working. I know 5 years ago when they thought vaccines may be causing autism it was all over the news. I think if it did it would be on the news and all over the place - because a cure for autism would be a big deal. This may be a good treatment for some children but I don't think cure is the right word. (This of course is just my personal opinion and it would never hurt to try a new treatment)
