GNU Free Documentation License What characteristic do you love most in a fictional character? Which one least? Q. Do you have a favorite character in a book you've read and what was the one characteristic you loved about them? Which characteristic do you least like in a character or the protaganist in a story? What attribute would make you want to read a story and what would make you want to stop? Asked by Wind, Willows, and Goldfish - Wed Oct 31 21:10:01 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. I like when a character shows, and admits, that he or she has flaws. No one is perfect. I don't like characters who are arrogant about a skill that that character cannot perform well. I like stories that flow well, in that I could read the book for hours without realizing that time has even passed. What I hate about some stories is how stagnant it feels. I feel the passage of each minute that I'm reading that book. For example, I cannot read through Tolkein. Yes, events happen, characters talk, etc. But the way he writes is so slow. So, whether it is a special talent, a personality trait or some other feature, what do you believe is your best characteristic? What makes you, uniquely you? Asked by . - Sun Aug 6 12:47:32 2006 - - 16 Answers - 2 Comments A. I'd have to say it would be a tie between my intelligence and my sense of humour. I actually think the two go together, hand in glove (i.e., wit). Honestly, I've rarely met witty people who lacked in intelligence, though I've occasionally encountered intellectuals with no discernible sense of humour. I'm not entirely sure how unique my combination of intellect and wit truly are but they certainly help to make me the person I am. And in this mad world, I'd be lost without them both. Q. What characteristic of UTP cable helps reduce the effects of interference? 1. the metal braiding in the shielding 2. the reflective cladding around core 3. the twisting of the wires in the cable 4. the insulating material in the outer jacket snd me the correct answer pls... Asked by dilshannet - Thu Nov 1 03:05:16 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. 3. the twisting of the wires in the cable causes a small magnetic field that blocks interference. UTP stands for unshielded twisted pair. So there is no shielding. no metal braiding no reflective coating and no insulating material (Except plastic which shields nothing but current). Which only leaves number 3. Answered by Phill Lee - Thu Nov 1 03:09:02 2007 From Yahoo Answer Search: "characteristic" WKNC Pick of the Week
